THE PEGAGUS

She felt herself quivering
Shaking
Beneath the layers of skin
She had showed him
The path to her soul,
He followed, gingerly
Tasting each piece
Of her once broken heart
He held her tightly
She forgot how she once
Had played the field
She almost
Began to believe

Looking into his eyes
She started to plan her escape
But she could not stop
listening
To his erection
Speaking to her mental orgasms,
Her moans wrote poems
Her body sang a melody
Everything she gave
He took
And then he gave it back
To her
Like ribbon tied presents

She rebelled against
His stern whispers,
Still,
she soared
Above the fields
Of his planted kisses
Reaping what he has sown
Patiently waiting
For her blooms
To become the succulent fruit
Bursting with sweet nectar
Dribbling from the sides
Of his desire…

He discovered the nature
Of her beast
Rattling the bars of the cage
He set it free
And tamed it
With his wild kingdom,
Erasing the thoughts
Of this one night stand,
Creating memories
Not mistakes,
Building star gates
And bridges
All the way to heaven…

All she wanted
Was to be held
By a man
Someone to tell her
It’s okay,
She did not want to be alone,
But,
She was naked in all her glory,
floating in a sea
Of their residue,
Her thoughts came,
He pretended to sleep
So much for her escape,
She remained captive
As he threw his arm
Around her,
Giving her safe passage
To a new beginning,

She sighed,
Is this too good to be true?
Talking to the depths
Of her soul
Where he had been,
They simply told her
To hush
And enjoy the ride
Of the Pegasus…

  1. Why would anyone believe this piece to be "nasty"...this is beautifully written, with sensitivity, warmth and passion. The characters spoke without speaking and their voices emancipated them in their passion. beautiful poetry! Beautiful indeed!
